Flip It Card

I created this card using the new Flip It dies from Stampin' Up.  As you pull on the front and back of the card at the same time the "HI" flips to the butterfly.

The possibilities are endless.  I have seen many different styles and can't wait to try them.

Back in the Craft Room

I am slowly returning to a normal schedule.  October 23 I had brain surgery to remove a tumor. What an experience.  Crossing my fingers we don't have to repeat that one!! After 2 days in ICU, and another in a regular room -I got to come home.

My wonderful husband stayed with me the first couple of days.  Making sure I could get around OK, fixed the meals and brought me my medication. I have had a hard time with taking things slow and being patient.  My friends knowing this - offered duct tape and several other items to help keep me off my feet.  LOL...

The second week, my mom, my sister, and my niece came to stay.  We got to spent a lot of time in the craft room.  My sister worked on scrapbook pages, mom worked on Christmas cards, and I odd and end projects.  Each day they made sure to get me out of the house even if it was just to run to the store. I am so grateful they were able to spend so much time with me. With them living in another state, we don't get a lot of time together.

Since I have 4 weeks at home and unable to drive - I get to spend all the time I want in the craft room!!  (Very Gitty about this).  I worked on some cards, a wreath, and a few odds and ends.

New Project - Banner

Hi All!  I have been at it again in the craft room.  I wanted to make something for a friend of mine for her birthday.  I recently attended the Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City where we were shown some really cute banner projects.  Needless to say; I had to try this out for myself - so......  I decided to make a banner in a style I really like but have yet to attempt.  I must say, I am liking it!!

As always, as the creator, I can see things I would like to change or add.  But definitely a place to start..  Any suggestions you might have - would be great as well.

Triple layer stamping -

I tried my hand at this technique.  I wanted to see if it was as easy as it sounded; and well... I do believe it was successful.

Definately a card I can't wait to send to a friend; just to say HELLO!  The little Hello tag was made using the new little Petite Curly Label Punch and the Square punch.  Of course the coordinating Hello stamp is a must have too. Can you imagine this card stamped with fall colors??

Odds and Ends

I created this adorable set of cards using the petite curly label punch offered during the Sale-a-bration promotion,  and the Postage Stamp Punch.  These are the cutest punches!

Can you imagine the possibilities??  I am thinking purple would be a cute color to use....

Craft Room Invasion!!

I have had a Craft Room Invasion!!

I plan to post a few pics of recent projects later today..  I have had to postpone much creating for a month.  My craft room is now full of Girl Scout Cookies!!!  We are the local cookie cupboard and .. well...  there are thousands of those things roaming the streets and grocery stores right now.  I plan to start regular classes in April or May.

If any of you are new to Angie's Place --- Welcome!!

In the mean time (until the cookies have made their rounds) if anyone would like to schedule a PRIVATE CLASS -I would be more than happy.  Of course I would love to schedule these anytime.  They are so much fun!!

Getting started on Valentines...
