Hello Fellow Crafters and Card makers!!

With the coming of the new year, I have decided to have a bigger on-line presence with the goal in mind of getting to know more crafting friends.  So I hope you will join me in creating some smiles to send along, or something to decorate your home that will also bring a smile as you pass by.

I have created a few cards to share with you.  I am creating with Forever Blossoms, Painted Poppies, as well as the stamp and die set for Dressed to Impress.  I am really liking the flowers and the versatility available.  They make a Birthday card just as easily as a Sympathy Card; simply alter your colors and sentiment and Wa La.

This card actually has textured paper for the background.  When seen up close the paper looks just like linen!

I really like the poppies.  There are more to come of these!!

Aren't these little purses just the cutest!  They are big enough you could actually fit a 3x3 set of cards inside. They are perfect for a little girl's birthday with a gift card.  My niece absolutely loved hers.  I don't know about you, but anything mini-sized is just CUTE!

The products I used can be found at my online link:  https://angiesplace.stampinup.net/

TRAVELERS NOTEBOOK

So I got to spend the day in the craft room (happy place) today.  I have been wanting to create a Travelers Notebook for some time now.  I heard one mentioned on a fellow crafter's page and when she described what it was I knew it was something I needed to make or at least get my hands on one.  So I set out to make one, since I was feeling a little creative.  I got a good start on it -now to add a few little extras to make it cutsy :) .

If you do a google search for a Travelers Notebook or a Fauxdori, you can find any number of versions.  The supplies I used to make this little creation were:  File folders(2) Designers series paper, Card stock, Paper clips, Ribbon, Elastic cord, and copy paper.    It is still a work in progress but I am excited it has come this far.  Now that I have an initial project to work from I can create some for gifts working out the kinks and extras as I go.

Happy Crafting :)

Creating Again!

I am so happy to be back in the craft room again.  It has been ages since I have been able to sit down and create something.  I created this beautiful card using the Very Versailles and Fanciful Frangrance stamp sets by Stampin' Up.  The ink colors are Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand, paper is Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.  A strip of burlap ribbon was added for a little dimension.

Stampin'Up Convention--------Onstage 2019

I thought I would post a picture of my swaps for this year's Stampin'Up Convention- Onstage!!

I can't wait for this exciting event for demonstrators all over the world to attend.  There are many locations throughout the world available for us to come together as demonstrators to learn and share our creations.

This year as we have been encouraged to Stamp Simply #Simplestamping I created this card.

I used Perenial Birthday for the flowers, and Colorful Seasons stamp set for the sentiment and Crumb Cake paper, Rich Razzleberry ink pad, Old Olive, Calypso Corral (light and dark) blender pens.  I scored the horizontal lines and used the Crumb Cake marker to trace the line.

My second swap for Onstage is made with Basic Grey, & Mint Macaroon.

The crackle paint background stamp is so much fun to use.  The flower image from Love what you do fits perfect in the center.

4th of July

I had a hard time with this project.  Looking around the internet, I couldn't find but maybe 1 or 2 examples that I could use for inspiration.  I am happy with the turnout though, and will need to do a little tweeking here and there, but over all I think I did ok..

I sat down to play with my new stamp set -- Work Of Art.  This is a must have set to add to your collection!  I can't believe how fun and easy it is to use.  It can create just about any type of card in just minutes all by itself!

The butterfly card and Love you card were made using this stamp set..
